Völlig losgelöst am Flughafen Köln Bonn
Weightless at Cologne Bonn airport (English below)
Der hier ausgestellte Airbus A300 wurde im Jahre 1973 gebaut. Zwischen 1998 und 2013 wurden damit während ca. 5200 Flügen 13180 Parabeln geflogen. Parabelflüge dienen der Erzeugung von Schwerelosigkeit innerhalb der Kabine. Für die Dauer des Parabelfluges können beispielsweise angehende Astronauten in der Schwerelosigkeit üben.
Laut Wikipedia bezeichnet Schwerelosigkeit einen Zustand, in dem die Gewichtskraft auf einen Körper nicht spürbar ist. Die wenigsten von uns können sich einen Parabelflug in einem Flugzeug leisten. Angebote dafür gibts im Internet für bis ca. 25.000 Euro. Hier wollen wir nicht so viel Geld investieren: Rein mathematisch und physikalisch beschreibt nämlich auch jeder Sprung eine Parabel und zwischen Start (Absprung) und Landung (Aufprall) sollte keine Gewichtskraft spürbar sein. Somit sollte für einen (leider) kurzen Moment Schwerelosigkeit auftreten. Ihr seid herzlich eingeladen, das selbst auszuprobieren.
Als unbedingte Logbedingung für diesen Virtual Cache muss ein Foto beigefügt sein, welches mit den Zero-G-Flieger im Hintergrund
- den Cacher
- oder sein GPS-Empfänger
- oder sein Maskottchen /persönlicher Gegenstand
klar losgelöst von der Erde, d. h. im Sprung oder Wurf zeigt. Logs, welche nicht diese Logbedingung erfüllen, werden gelöscht.
(Fotomontagen und Fotos von staitschem Herumstehen oder befestigten oder festgehaltenen Gegenständen sowie Fotos, bei denen nicht zweifelsfrei erkennbar ist, dass sich die Person oder Gegenstand im Spung oder Wurf befindet, erfüllen nicht die Logbedingungen. Keine Diskussion, keine Ausnahmen!)
Allen zukünftigen Space-Abendteurern wünschen wir einen guten Flug und eine sichere und schmerzarme Landung. Zur Vermeidung von Parkgebühren empfehlen wir die Benutzung von öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, wie z.B. KVB, Deutsche Bahn oder Lufthansa. Zu Fuß vom Terminal zum Cache sind es nur wenige Minuten. Haltet euch in Richtung Parkhaus P3.

Parabolic flights serve to create weightlessness within the cabin during the parabola. Prospective astronauts could train to perform in weightlessness during these flights.
According to Wikipedia, weightlessness is a state where the gravitational force of a body is not noticable. Very few can afford a parabolic flight in an airplane. Offers in the internet range to up to approx. 25,000 Euro for such an adventure. We would not like to spend that much money. From a mathematical and physical standpoint, a jump follows a parabola and there should not be any noticable sense of weight between the moment after jumping off and landing (impact) and wehightlessness should occur for this brief moment. You are invited to try it for yourelf.
As absolute compulsary logging requirement, a photo taken with the Zero-G jet in the background must be attached, clearly showing
- the cacher
- or her/his GPS receiver
- or her/his mascot /personal item
detached from the earth, meaning during jump or throw. Logs, which don't comply with this requirement will be deleted. (Photomontages and photos of people standing or suspended items as well as photos in which the person or item is not clearly shown during a jump or throw don't comply with the logging requirements. No discussions, no exceptions!)
We wish all future space adventurers a nice flight and a safe and painless landing. To avoid parking fees at the airport, we suggest using public transport offerd by KVB, Deutsche Bahn, Lufthansa, and others. A walk from the terminal to GZ takes only a few minutes. Walk towards parking garage P3.
