Geocache Description:

The Queen of Rock 'n' Roll, aka Tina Turner, was born here in Brownsville Tennessee in 1939 and grew up in the nearby rural community of Nutbush. She rose to prominence as the lead singer of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue in 1957 before launching a successful career as a solo performer in the 1980s. You've probably heard her songs on the radio or in movies..."What's Love Got to Do with It", "Private Dancer", "We Don't Need Another Hero (Thunderdome)" just to name a very few.
Having sold over 100 million records worldwide, Tina Turner is one of the best-selling recording artists of all time. She has received 12 Grammy Awards, and is the first black artist and first female to be on the cover of Rolling Stone. Tina has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the St. Louis Walk of Fame. She has twice been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, with Ike Turner in 1991 and as a solo artist in 2021.

The coordinates lead you to the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center and Tina Turner Museum, where you can learn a lot more about the Queen of Rock 'n' Roll. The hours are: Tuesday - Saturday, 9-5 and Sundays, 1-5; closed on Mondays.
This virtual was placed with permission - you don't need to go inside the Heritage Center or Museum to satisfy the virtual requirements, but it is a fun experience. Mention geocaching if you'd like!

To log this virtual, include a photo (optional) in your log and please send me the answers (email or message) to the following questions (required):

1. There are many park benches around the property and patio. There is one older bench with a plaque; who provided this bench (name on the plaque)?

2. In front of the Flagg Grove School there is a bell. Once on the school's deck, what number is on the back of the bell (below the bolt/nut holding the bell)?

3. While still on the school's deck, look to the left of the school at the small house of Sleepy John Estes. How many covered power outlet boxes are attached to the deck to the left of Estes' house (as seen from looking over the railing or coming up the ramp)?
