To coincide with the celebration of the state’s 159th birthday, Governor Jim Justice and the West Virginia Department of Tourism have placed nine "Almost Heaven" swings in various scenic locations around the state of West Virginia to showcase scenic views and to promote tourism in the State. This one is local to me and showcases one of my favorite things to take photos of. I wanted to use my Virtual Cache allotment for it so others can experience some of the beauty of WV, too. Please be as stealth as possible of what you are doing. This can be a fairly high muggle area at times. Since the initial nine swing placements, more of these swings have been added around the state, I think there are approximately thirty-some now.
In order to claim this virtual cache, please complete the following and message it to the CO.
1. There's a plaque on the fire ring near the swing. Message me (the CO) with the year range on it or any other information on that plaque to get credit for the find, but don't include any of that information in your log.
2. Optional, but encouraged, post a photo in your log of you at the swing with the scenic view. This can be done by placing your phone on the shelf and set the delay timer to take the picture.
