Welcome to "Oh, do you feel the breeze from the subway?" Virtual 3.0 Cache. This is the location where Marilyn Monroe's famous white dress scene from "The Seven Year Itch" was filmed. In the movie, Monroe stands on top of a subway grate and says "Ooh, do you feel the breeze from the subway?" as the wind blows her skirt up.
The scene was filmed at 1:00 am in front of tons of people who showed up to view the filming of the now iconic scene. Due to all of the noise from approximately 2,000 to 7,000 onlookers, the original footage was unusable and had to be filmed at a a Fox studio lot in California.
To receive credit for this virtual you must post a picture either standing on top of the grate (bonus points for reproducing the scene!) or, if you do not feel comfortable showing your face, a picture of your GPS location above the grate or in the background is fine.
