La Torre Emperador Castellana (anteriormente Torre Espacio) es el cuarto rascacielos más alto de España y octavo de la Unión Europea. Tiene una altura de 224 metros y 56 plantas sobre el nivel del suelo. La altura máxima es de 230 metros (contando la bandera de España instalada en la azotea). La fachada está cubierta exclusivamente de vidrio y las plantas, que tienen forma cuadrada en la base, se modifican a medida que aumenta la altura hasta alcanzar una forma ojival, formando una curva que matemáticamente representa la función coseno.
La Torre Espacio fue proyectada por el arquitecto Henry N. Cobb, miembro de la firma Pei Cobb Freed & Partners y construida por OHL (Obrascón Huarte Lain).
El edificio se sitúa en la linde entre los distritos madrileños de Chamartín y Fuencarral-El Pardo, en el complejo de rascacielos Cuatro Torres Business Area (CTBA), al final del paseo de la Castellana.
La construcción del edificio comenzó en 2004 y en marzo de 2007 alcanzó techo. Durante la noche del 4 de septiembre de 2006 se declaró un incendio entre la planta 40 y 42, la última planta en construcción en ese momento, a una altura de 162 metros. No hubo heridos y los daños no afectaron a la estructura. A fecha del 24 de noviembre de 2006 la Torre Espacio superó en altura al entonces edificio más alto de España, el Hotel Bali de Benidorm de 186 metros.
El 19 de marzo de 2007 un espectáculo pirotécnico a más de 300 metros de altura celebró que la torre había llegado a su máxima altura y que había sido concluida. El 29 de marzo de 2007 dejó de ser el edificio más alto de España al ser superado por la Torre de Cristal, también ubicada en CTBA.
El edificio alberga oficinas de empresas y las embajadas del Reino Unido, Canadá, Australia y Países Bajos.
En el complejo Cuatro Torres Business Area (CTBA) existen varias obras de arte. Junto al edificio Torre Emperador Castellana, y muy cerca de las coordenadas del caché se encuentra la escultura “Simeón sentado” obra de Francisco Leiro en 2007.
EL CACHÉ
Para registrar este caché deberás seguir los siguientes pasos:
- Enviar al propietario un mensaje con las cuatro letras que puedes encontrar junto al Simeón Sentado, en el extremo derecho de la línea de mástiles mirando la estatua de frente.
- Añadir en el registro una foto de la escultura "Simeón Sentado" con la entrada del edificio Torre Emperador Castellana de fondo en la que salgas tú, tu nick, tu GPS o algún objeto que te identifique. No es necesario esperar la respuesta del mensaje para hacer el registro. Si la respuesta no es correcta el registro puede ser borrado aunque se hablaría antes con el jugador.

The Emperador Castellana Tower (previously Torre Espacio) is the fourth tallest skyscraper in Spain and the eighth tallest in the European Union. It has a height of 224 meters and 56 floors above ground level. The maximum height is 230 meters (counting the Spanish flag installed on the roof). The facade is covered exclusively with glass and the floors, which have a square shape at the base, are modified as the height increases until they reach an ogival shape, forming a curve that mathematically represents the cosine function.

THE CACHE
To register this cache you must follow these steps:
1. Send the owner a message with the four letters that you can find next to Seated Simeon, on the far right of the line of masts facing the statue from the front.
2. Add to the registry a photo of the sculpture "Simeón Sentado" with the entrance to the Torre Emperador Castellana building in the background showing you, your nickname, your GPS or some object that identifies you. It is not necessary to wait for the response of the message to register. If the answer is not correct, the record can be deleted, although the player would be spoken to beforehand.
