Completed in 1972, Fairbairn Dam and Lake Maraboon supply water for the surrounding residential, agricultural, and industrial customers.
The lake provides a huge area for recreation including boating, waterskiing, swimming and fishing. There is plenty of space for picnics as well.
There are 2 waypoints and a final point to locate. These can be done in any order. There are no questions to answer or mysteries to solve here. Just the opportunity to enjoy the location and the views.
Simply visit each point and log the cache with a photo of you, your GPS, your caching mascot or something displaying your caching name in at least 2 of the 3 locations.
There may be times when one or more of the points is not accessible. If that’s the case, please send a message through Geocaching to explain why.
