To get to the parking area from Whitehorse you drive 50 km on the Alaska Highway towards Haines Junction. When you see the Kluane Wagon Road sign, turn onto that road and drive to the parking area. The trail to the cache coordinates is quite well defined, just enjoy the stroll until you arrive at an interesting rock at the posted coordinates.
To claim a smiley please log a photo of yourself, your gps or phone, or a piece of paper with your geocache name on it at the split in the rock. It is approximately a 0.14mile walk from the parking area with an elevation gain of about 100 feet.
If you would like to hike about another 100 feet up along the trail you will see really amazing views of the valley, and if you continue further the views just get better and better! The land you are walking on is part of the Champagne and Aishihik traditional territory, please be respectful and leave the area as you found it.
