NIGDY WIĘCEJ WOJNY !          NO MORE WAR !

Miejsce, w którym znajduje się napis jest dla wszystkich Gdańszczan symboliczne - tu zaczęła się Druga Wojna Światowa. To tu, pierwszego września 1939 roku, padły pierwsze strzały. Atak pancernika Schleswig-Holstein uznaje się za oficjalny początek największej ludzkiej tragedii XX wieku.

Wojna zakończyła się po pięciu latach zmagań. Napis "Nigdy więcej wojny" pojawił się na Westerplatte w 1966 roku wraz z Pomnikiem Obrońców Wybrzeża.

Warunki zalogowania tego kesza wirtualnego są bardzo proste:

1. Stań w miejscu wskazanym przez współrzędne startowe i zrób zdjęcie, pokazujące Twoje urządzenie GPS lub telefon, wyświetlające aktualne współrzędne geograficzne na tle napisu. Zdjęcie dołącz do logu.

2. Zmierz krokami długość napisu. Odpowiedź prześlij do mnie poprzez formularz kontaktowy.

This historic place is known to every citizen o Gdańsk - this was the starting point for 2nd World War. It was here where the first shots were fired. The assault by ironclad Schleswig-Holstein is officially acknowledged as the beginning of the biggest human tragedy in XX century.

To log this cache you need to fulfill simple requirements:

1. At given coordinates you should be able to take a picture of yourself in front of the sign (meaning "no more war"), showing your GPS device or a smartphone with actual geographic location and post it together with your log.
