Please visit site and note the historical plaque. Read about the significance of this historical property in the life of the Lethbridge community, and how it influenced the local agriculture development, including irrigation and crop experimentation. The house and farm were often used to promote the area to highlight the potential agricultural wealth of the irrigated area. The farm is gone, but the private residence house is still here, surrounded by the city.
I personally attended class at the nearby Lethbridge college in the mid 1960âs, which is located on part of the original Whitney farm land.
