This virtual cache takes you to the intersection of Euclid Avenue and E 14th Street in Cleveland. Here you will find the biggest outdoor chandelier in North Amarica. It is in the heart of Cleveland's theater district and has come to symbolize the area.
The chandelier is 20 ft. tall and has 4,200 crystals. It is suspended from a 44 ft. tall steel structure. The crystals were designed to withstand Cleveland's environment and are lit by 68 LED lights. The chandelier was put in place in May, 2014.
Parking is available in all directions. There are several parking lots in the area and street parking might be found near by on E 14th Street. Availability is most limited during show times.
Logging Requirements:
To log a find for this virtual cache, you must go to the cache coordinates and post a picture in your log of yourself or a personal item with the chandelier in the background.
Edit 7/24/22: A photo of the area without you or your item is not enough to verify your visit to the location.
You also need to message or email the cache owners the answers to the following two questions:
1. What is the title of the bronze plaque on the building directly behind the north pillar of the chandelier structure. Hint: The plaque is not about the chandelier. A waypoint is provided for the location of the plaque in case you have trouble determining which way is north. Do not post any pictures of the plaque.
2. What is your all-time favorite theater production? It could be a major commercial theater play or your eight grade class production of Peter Pan.
