You are currently at the Bolmer Family Burial Ground, the oldest cemetery in the Washington Valley area. This cemetery dates all the way back to the 1700’s, with the oldest gravestone dating back to 1742. There are currently five gravestones, though there are believed to have been more, most likely for the revolutionary war soldiers, both British and American, who used the nearby Bolmer Farm as an encampment. Due to the construction of the Spring Run housing development in the 1940's it is now located in the middle of Middle Road.
