About SideTracked Caches
This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. More Information can be found on the SideTracked Series website at:

Normanton railway station is a heritage-listed railway station. It was built in 1889. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register in 1992. It serves as a tourist attraction and station for the Gulflander line. The Gulflander passenger train operates on a 151 km remnant of the Normanton to Croydon historic railway. The Normanton railway station features a large steel frame with an open canopy to provide shade.

The coordinates will take you to the entrance. As you enter through the archway, on the left of the corridor is a white information board (just after the larger blackboard), headed Normanton to Croydon Railway - The Track.
Answer these questions:
1. What years were the railway line linking Normanton to Croydon built between, to service the goldfields near Croydon?
2. What year did George qualify as a surveyor?
3. What year was this recognised with an engineering heritage marker?
To log this, please message (not email) me the answers and a photograph of you and/or your GPS with the information board. Please do not include this in your log, or it will be deleted. Feel free to post other photographs that don’t give answers to the questions. Please send the answers BEFORE you log. Then log. There is no need to wait for an answer before logging. If I don't receive the answers I will delete your log. Any problems, I will contact you.
