KERIMÄEN KIRKKO on 45 metriä pitkä, 42 metriä leveä ja 27 metriä korkea. Ristin huippu huitelee 37 metrissä. Lähes 1700 metrin matkalle penkkejä mahtuu istumaan rouheat 3300 henkilöä ja seisomapaikoille vielä 2000 seurakuntalaista lisää. Arkkitehti A. F. Granstedt suunnitteli kirkon vuonna 1844, jonka jälkeen kirkonrakentaja Axel Magnus Tolpo ja sittemmin hänen poikansa Theodor Tolpo saattoivat rakennustyöt valmiiksi vuoden 1847 syyskuun loppuun mennessä. Kirkko vihittiin käyttöön helluntaina 1848.
Kirkon aukioloajoista löytynee parhaat tiedot kirkon tai kunnan sivuilta, mutta lähtökohtaisesti kirkko on auki vain kesäkuukausina päiväsaikaan.

KERIMÄKI CHURH is 45 meters long, 42 meters wide and 27 meters high. Top of cross is at 37 meter height. Almost 1700 meters of benches can seat roughly 3300 persons and about 2000 more participants can join on standing places. Architect A. F. Granstedt designed the church in 1844. Church builder Axel Magnus Tolpo and later his son Theodor Tolpo supervised the constructions ready by the end of September 1847. The church was consecrated at Whitsun 1848.
Opening hours and days are probably best informed on church or county websites, but in principle the church is open daily during the Summer time.

1) TASK 1 N 61° 54.745' E 29° 17.060' take a picture of yourself (thumb, gps device, hat, etc.) so that the ENTRANCE OF THE CLOCK TOWER (the one facing to the church) is clearly visible in the background. REMINDER! Look the example picture. There is no church on the background. So if your picture have a church on the background, you are in the wrong place. Please go near given coordinates and take a similar picture as seen in the example picture. The dark hours photographers will make sure that more than just your thumb is visible in the picture...

Die Kirche von Kerimäki ist 45 Metern Länge, 42 Metern Breite und 27 Metern Höhe. Die Spitze des Kreuzes befindet sich in 37 Metern Höhe. Fast 1700 Meter Bänke bieten Platz für etwa 3300 Personen und etwa 2000 weitere können auf Stehplätzen nehmen. Der Architekt A. F. Granstedt entwarf die Kirche im Jahr 1844. Der Kirchenbaumeister Axel Magnus Tolpo und später sein Sohn Theodor Tolpo überwachten die Bauarbeiten, die Ende September 1847 abgeschlossen waren. Die Kirche wurde an Pfingsten 1848 eingeweiht.
Die Öffnungszeiten und Tage sind am besten auf den Websites der Kirchen und Gemeinden zu erfahren, aber im Prinzip ist die Kirche während der Sommerzeit täglich geöffnet.

Bitte schauen Sie sich das Beispielbild an! Es gibt keine Kirche im Hintergrund. Wenn Ihr Bild also eine Kirche im Hintergrund hat, sind Sie hier falsch. Die Fotografen werden bei Dunkelheit dafür sorgen, dass mehr als nur Ihr Daumen auf dem Bild zu sehen ist...
