Globen er fremstillet af den nu afdøde billedhugger Jens-Flemming Sørensen. Den blev skænket af Det Obelske Familiefond til Aalborg Kommune i 2010. Den står foran Wrist Ship Supply i Nørresundby tæt på Limfjorden.
Jens-Flemming Sørensen har lavet en lang række af skulpturer i både Danmark og udlandet. Hans kunst er kendt for antydningens kunst, hvilket også ses, hvis man kigger nærmere efter på dette værk.

Globen is made by the now deceased sculptor Jens-Flemming Sørensen. It was donated by the Obel Family Foundation to Aalborg Municipality in 2010. It stands in front of Wrist Ship Supply in Nørresundby close to Limfjorden.
Jens-Flemming Sørensen has made a large number of sculptures in both Denmark and abroad. His art is known for hidden details, which is also seen if one takes a closer look at this work.
Logging Requirements:
1. Somewhere on the "Globe" the artist has put his autograph followed by a date. Send an email to Globen??????@gmail.com, where you enter the date instead of ?????? (only numbers). Enter your geocacher name in the subject field.
2. Take a picture of yourself (you don't have to show your face), or something with your geocacher name on it, in front of the Globe. You must attach this image with your logging.
