FANFARE
A gift from the city of Sydney to Christchurch City in 2007. Designed by Christchurch born sculptor Neil Dawson.
Fanfare is 20 metres in diameter, 24 metres high and weighs 25 tonnes. Covering the structure are 360 steel fans, each 1.5 meters in diameter and rotated by the wind.
To get access to Fanfare take the Main North Rd (not the Motorway)
To log this cache simply take a photo with your handheld GPS in front of Fanfare , or get creative with Fanfare with your own style of photo.
