The statue of St George (Statuia Sfântului Gheorghe in Romanian) in Cluj is a replica of the one in front of the Reformed Church on Farkas (Kogălniceanu) Street. The original work was made in 1373 by the Cluj brothers Martin and George and is now in the St. George Monastery in Prague. There is also a copy in the courtyard of the Hradzin in Prague.

The replica was made in the Budapest foundry of József Róna and unveiled on 28 September 1904 in Arany János Square (later Szent György, Gheorghe Sion, Peace, now Lucian Blaga Square). The pedestal was made by Kálmán Lux, an architect of the National Committee for Monuments in Cluj Napoca. It stood here until 1961, when it was moved to the front of the Reformed Church on Farkas Street during the reconstruction of the square for the construction of the Student House.
