There are two paths you can take to get to GZ. Either the stairs or path. It can be a bit of a strenuous hike if you're unfit like me , but it's a beautiful veiw from the top! Views include Perth city, Fremantle, and if the cloud cover allows you can also see Rottnest Island.
This is one of my favourite parks. It was redone in December of 2019 to include a staircase, exercise area, and new playground for the young kids. The health and wellbeing hub is also home to Australia’s largest outdoor park warrior course featuring 16 innovative and challenging obstacles over a 78 metre soft fall surface. Participants can register and record their times via an app, available by scanning a QR code located at the starting line of the course, allowing them to challenge themselves or others. There are bitumen paths all around the rolling sand dunes giving easy access to bikes, wheelchairs, strollers, rollerblades, skateboards, or whatever mode of transport takes your fancy!
To log your find you'll need to send the total number of stairs noted on the orange sign visible from GZ and of course add a picture of yourself or any TOT on you from the top! Happy Caching!
