Geocache Description:

Pralja

Krušija u Krku izgrađena je na ušću ponornice Ponikve u more. Ovaj se izvor pitke vode spominje još od 13. stoljeća, kada se u Krčkome statutu strogo propisuje njegovo održavanje. Naziv Krušija potječe od talijanskog izraza „corso“ što znači tijek. Na ovome mjestu nalazi se zdenac koji je služio kao izvor pitke vode i perilo na kojem su Krčanke dolazile prati robu. U prošlosti je Krušija služila i kao mjesto okupljanja, a na izvor se dovodila i stoka kojoj je bilo zabranjeno korištenje zdenca, već je za nju bilo namijenjeno kameno korito koje se i danas nalazi na originalnom mjestu.

Godine 2012. na Krušiji je otkrivena spomenička skulptura „Pralja“, autorice Marije Ujević-Galetović. Skulptura je posvećena Krčankama koje su, noseći pune kablove na glavi, dolazile ovamo ispirati rublje. Krušija je bila mjesto okupljanja i druženja gdje su žene uz naporno ručno pranje mogle malo i popričati.

ZADATAK:

Kako biste logirali ovaj keš kao nađen, morate posjetiti spomenik te „pomoći“ pralji. To ćete postići tako što ćete se fotografirati kako stojite pored spomenika i na glavi držite bilo kakav neobičan predmet (bocu, ruksak, loptu… – budite kreativni). Fotografiju ćete priložiti uz svoj upis, a ako ne želite pokazati svoje lice, možete fotografirati svoje korisničko ime ili geoitem sa spomenikom u pozadini. Želim vam dobru zabavu!

Napomena: fotografiju postavite uz vaš zapis/log, ne morate je slati meni putem privatne poruke. Dakle, ne morate čekati moje odobrenje da prijavite keš. Sukladno pravilima, zapisi kojima u razumnom roku ne bude pridružena fotorgafija bit će obrisani.

Washerwoman

"Krušija" (laundry area) in Krk was built at the confluence of Ponikva (a small subterranean river) into the sea. This spring of potable water has been mentioned ever since the 13th century, when the maintenance of this area was defined by law. The name "Krušija" comes from the Italian term "corso" which means flow. Here a well can be found that served as a source of potable water as well as a laundry area where local women once came to wash their clothes. In the past Krušija also served as a gathering place, and the stone trough, which can still be found at its original place, was intended for cattle.

In 2012, the memorial sculpture "Pralja" ("Washerwoman") was uncovered on Krušija by Croatian sculptor Marija Ujević-Galetović. The sculpture is dedicated to local Krk women who came here to wash clothes, carrying full washbowls on their heads. Krušija was a place of gathering and socializing, where women could have a little chat along with hard hand washing.

TASK:

In order to log this cache as found, you must visit the monument and "help" the washerwoman. You will achieve this by taking a photo of yourself standing next to the monument while holding any unusual object on your head (bottle, backpack, ball... - be creative). You will attach a photo to your entry, and if you don't want to show your face, you can take a photo of your username or geoitem with the monument in the background. Have fun!

Note: post the photo with your log - you don't have to send it to me via message center. Therefore, you don't have to wait for my approval to log the cache. According to the rules, logs that are not accompanied by a photo within a reasonable period of time will be deleted.
