Haugesund Rådhus er et av byens fremste kjennemerker. Midler til bygging av rådhuset ble gitt i gave av skipsreder Knut Knutsen O.A.S og hans hustru Elisabeth i 1921.
Bygget er tegnet av arkitektene Rudolf Blakstad og Herman Munthe-Koss. Byggingen startet i 1923 og rådhuset sto ferdig i 1931. Byggets karakteristiske lyserøde eksteriørfarge har vært uforandret fra det sto ferdig.
De to ørneskulpturene som står på hver sin sokkel ved inngangen er modellert av Dyre Vaa og kom på plass i 1933.
I 1947 gav Elisabeth Knutsen midler til opparbeidelse av rådhusplassen og utsmykning av rådhuset.
I 1993 ble rådhuset og rådhusparken fredet etter kulturminneloven.
I 2010 ble Haugesund rådhus kåret til landets flotteste rådhus.
