Nous vous proposons donc de découvrir les sculptures Manman Dlo et Yemaya, immergées dans la baie de Saint Pierre. Ces sculptures monumentales réalisées par Laurent Vallère, s'inscrivent dans le mouvement de l'underwater Art, l'art sous-marin, un concept représentatif de la mouvance actuelle en résonance à l'esprit de préservation de notre environnement. Manman Dlo, traduction créole du mythe de la sirène des mers martiniquaises, première sculpture de vingt tonnes, a été immergée en 2004. La deuxième sculpture, Yemaya, immergée en 2008, pourrait être sa fille. Ces sculptures sont devenues le refuge d'une faune marine. Prenez le temps de l'admirer.
