Geocache Description:

I find this place facinating and I hope you do too.  When you stand at the posted waypoint you are standing on historic ground.  Here are the ruins of a brick factory that stood here long ago.  In its heyday the Lincoln Brick Factory produced up to 40,000 bricks per day.  In fact, many buildings around Michigan were constructed by the amazing bricks that were produced here.  You can read more information about this abandoned factory from the various information signs posted around the site.

It is important to note that this is a historic site and no one should remove bricks from this location.

There are traces all around you of what took place here long ago.  Enjoy exploring and imagining the sites and sounds that took place long ago.
