The Woodland Park Rose Garden is a 2.5 acre piece of land housing 200 varieties of roses, near the Woodland Park Zoo. The Rose Garden is open 365 days a year from 7:30am to dusk. There is no fee to visit the Rose Garden. Depending on where and when you park there could be a parking fee.
My first visit to the Rose Garden was back in August of 2020, it was also my first visit to Seattle as well. I had come up to visit my favorite person. Roses happen to be my favorite flower because of their beauty, and amazing scent. I don't particularly enjoy eating them or drinking them though. My hope is that people will come, and enjoy all the different types of roses that are here. (Note: there won't be any roses in bloom during the cold times of the year.) During the Summer, and Fall this is the perfect place to come for a picnic, to explore with family or friends, or kick back with a book while you enjoy the weather.
