Andrew Haydon Park is a park on the Ottawa River that is managed by the City of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is situated on Carling Avenue at Holly Acres Rd and is connected to Dick Bell Park adjacent to the Nepean Sailing Club. Between the two parks there are many walking trails, play structures and picnic areas with easily accessible parking. Andrew Haydon Park includes two ponds that are inhabitd by mallard ducks and Canada geese. Both parks are home to migrating brants, ducks and shorebirds that enjoy the marshy edges of the river.
This virtual cache is intended to give visitors a tour of both parks and a chance to enjoy the wildlife and sights to be seen along the Ottawa River. Visit all three way points in any order and follow the instructions below to meet the conditions to log the cache. The distance to travel to all three wayponts by foot is approximately 1.5 - 2km.
