Thriving chard, tomatoes, oinions, and herbs – essential foodstuffs and life sustaining materials all grown within the confines of the Urban Jungle. This place is an example of how to accommodate the budgening surplus of Maslov's heirachical base with the increasing demand for food. As the occupancy of inner city accommodation is filled beyond capacity throughout the world, this site offers insight into how one of the basic means of survival can be fulfilled.
Sustainable food stock – Grown upon a roof-top!
Look before you at the healthy harvest, and then cast your eyes across the adjacent streets to the nearby food court. Reflect upon the space taken by the various fast food vendors, and then before you on the space used to produce healthy and unprocessed nutrients. Would that these roof gardens be evident in every city block!

Entrance is easily made via the roller shutter door alongside the formal entrance at 77 Monty Naiker Street. The site is accessable Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 (4 p.m.) There is no entrance fee – simply approach the reception window, tell them that you wish to visit the garden, and they wil let you through. There is no time limit, nor any restrictions on what you take through. So pack a pick-nik basket and enjoy a brief moment of what the future could be whilst nibbling on your peanut butter and jello sandwitches!
