Lakeside Lake, Pakenham.
A small lake in the suburb of Pakenham, VIC.
This reserve includes a 1.5km paved walk around the lake. A playground, BBQ and picnic facilities. Plenty of parking nearby.
There is no swimming permitted in the lake but small unpowered boats are allowed. A nice spot to go for a kayak or canoe while others jog and cycle around the lake.
Near the Eastern end of the lake is a water fountain. Used as a backdrop for many aspiring photographers.
The lake and surrounding area is home to many different species of water fowl.
To log this Virtual Cache you need to complete two tasks -
1 - Near the posted coordinates there is an information sign. Please send a message and let me know what the ducks enjoy for Dessert.
2 - Take a photo of the water fountain. Please include a unique item to your caching party, this can be a selfie, a posed photo, your caching name written on something, GPS device etc. This must be an original photo and not photo shopped or said item digitally added at a later date. Please include this photo in your log.
