Main Street in Gallitzin has seen several different bridges in this location, while hosting Main Street above what was once the "New Portage Railroad"- now part of the Norfolk Southern Pittsburgh Line. At one time back in the 1900s, passenger station was located nearby. At the posted coordinates, you will find a monument which tells you a little about the bridge.
