Das Lichtspieltheater der Jugend wurde Anfang des 20.
Jahrhunderts als erste Lichtspieltheater der Stadt Frankfurt(Oder)
erbaut. Nach dem Krieg wurde es 1954/55 auf den Ruinen des alten
Gebäudes als Stockwerkrahmen in Stahlbeton und
Mauerwerksausfachung wieder aufgebaut. 1966 erfolgte der Umbau
zum Cinemascope-Filmtheater mit 439 Plätzen. 1983 wurde das Haus
nochmals renoviert und nach der Wende noch ein kleiner Saal
integriert.
1998 wurde das Kino geschlossen, seitdem wartet das Gebäude auf
eine neue Nutzung. Inzwischen gibt es Pläne, das Gebäude zum
neuen Standort des Brandenburgischen Landesmuseum für moderne
Kunst umzubauen.
Eure Aufgabe: Mache ein Foto von Dir oder einem
Gegenstand der Dir gehört mit dem Gebäude und füge es Deinem
Log hinzu.
Logs mit alten Fotos des Gebäudes oder ohne Fotos werden
gelöscht.

The Lichtspieltheater der Jugend was founded at the beginning
of the 20th century as the first cinema in the city of Frankfurt
(Oder).
After the war it was rebuilt in 1954/55 on the ruins of the old
Building as a floor frame in reinforced concrete and masonry
infill. In 1966 the modification took place to a Cinemascope
movie theater with 439 seats. In 1983 the house was renovated
again and after the reunion of the two German states a small hall
was integrated.
The cinema was closed in 1998 and the building is waiting ever
since for a new use. There are now plans to rebuild it as a place
for the Brandenburgisches Landesmuseum für moderne Kunst.
Your task: Make a picture of you or something that
belongs to you with the building and attach it to your log
Logs with old pictures of the building or without a
picture will be deleted.
