In Icy Strait Point, you can also enjoy the Adventure Lab: "Needful Things in Icy Strait Point, Alaska." One of the 5 stages is located right here at Kéet Plaza.
In June of 2021, this monumental bronze statue of a 26-foot high breaching orca was dedicated here on Keet Plaza in Icy Strait Point. The sculpture was created by the well-known marine artist and conservationist, Wyland, and is titled "Orca Dream." It was placed here in partnership with the artist and Norwegian Cruise Line, and it was a gift from the cruise line to the Huna Totem shareholders. (Huna Totem is owned by approximately 1400 Alaska Native shareholders with aboriginal ties to Hoonah and the Glacier Bay area. This group wholly owns and operates Icy Strait Point.)

"Orca Dream" by Wyland in Icy Strait Point, Alaska

This is "Whaling Wall #101," a mural by Wyland which features the V-Pod, four orcas named for Eddie Vedder and his family. If you visit the Seattle waterfront before or after an Alaskan cruise, you can view this mural on the north side of the Edgewater Hotel on Elliott Bay.
Needful Things refers to a series of geocaches in West Seattle, Washington, with words and assets designed to please geocachers who enjoy challenge caches. The terrain here might normally be considered a T5, since most folks must take a boat to get to Chichagof Island, but then it's not like you paddled that boat yourself, right? Thus, a T4 rating is justified and this Virtual Reward meets the Needful Things prime objective.
