Geocache Description:


"Located in downtown Auburn, NY this tribute to Harriet Tubman is placed in the courtyard of the NYS Equal Rights Heritage Center and next door to the Seward House Museum. Following her years as conductor on the Underground Railroad, Harriet Tubman settled in Auburn, NY and lived the final 50 years of her life in the city. You will also want to visit her home and church which are designated as National Historical Park Sites and her gravesite is located in Auburn's Fort Hill Cemetery. The statue is located on NYS Route 34 which is also designated by the State of New York as the Harriet Tubman Memorial Highway."
