(ITA) La Lavanda del Brenta è un piccolo angolo di Provenza che prende vita a Fiesso d’Artico. Perfetta meta per una gita fuori porta lungo la Riviera del Brenta, vi troverete a contatto con la natura tra fiori e profumi inebrianti. Il campo è opera dei fratelli Baldan e della loro passione per il fiore di lavanda, una pianta forte che ama il caldo e a cui serve un po' d’amore, ma anche tante cure, per crescere rigogliosa. Soli pochi anni fa, l’idea di aprire le finestre di casa e vedere qualcosa di bello li porta a piantare alcune piantine di lavanda, ma lo spettacolo è così affascinante che l’anno successivo, pensano di fare qualcosa in più e nel 2018, con la messa a dimora delle prime 2.000 timide piantine, inizia la loro avventura. Oggi, tra i loro 4 ettari di campi, circa un ettaro è coltivato a lavanda. A La lavanda del Brenta troverete sia la lavanda, più usata in farmaceutica e in medicina, che il lavandino, un ibrido, che ha una resa maggiore e che viene usata in cosmetica: le differenze sostanziali sono più che altro a livello chimico e sulla grandezza delle piante. Tutti i componenti della famiglia sono disponibilissimi ad illustrarvi tutto il processo che interessa la lavanda e la produzione dei prodotti ricavati dalla lavanda con l’entusiasmo tipico di chi ha fatto della propria passione un secondo lavoro. Il loro motto infatti è “se la serenità avesse un profumo, sarebbe quello della lavanda”.
Curiosità: tra marzo e aprile 2022 uno dei campi adiacenti a quello di lavanda ha ospitato I Tulipani del Brenta: 35.000 tulipani provenienti direttamente dall’Olanda, disposti su 30 filari lunghi 100 metri ciascuno e piantati uno ad uno dalla famiglia Baldan.
Per loggare il cache: scattate una foto di voi tra i filari delle piante di lavanda. Consiglio di farlo tra maggio e giugno che le piante sono in piena fioritura. Trattandosi di arbusti perenni troverete le piante tutto l’anno ma il tipico colore viola lo potete ammirare solo durante i mesi di fioritura. Il campo è accessibile tutti i giorni gratuitamente dall’alba al tramonto, salvo alcuni casi quali maltempo, manutenzione, raccolta, eventi privati (verificate su facebook se ci sono eventi) o altri impegni dei proprietari. Si raccomanda la massima discrezione e il massimo rispetto, sia per la natura che per il lavoro e la passione che ci mettono i fratelli Baldan per mantenere questo angolo di paradiso.
