Latarnia morska w Kołobrzegu znajduje się przy wejściu do portu w Kołobrzegu, na prawym brzegu rzeki Parsęty.
Jej historia sięga końca XVII wieku, kiedy to w porcie miejskim ustawiono pierwsze światło nawigacyjne. Pierwsza latarnia o konstrukcji ryglowej, popularnie zwanej „murem pruskim”, została zbudowana w 1899 roku i wkrótce została zastąpiona mocniejszą konstrukcją murowaną.

Podczas drugiej wojny światowej latarnia została wysadzona przez niemieckich inżynierów, gdyż stanowiła bardzo dobry punkt orientacyjny dla polskiej artylerii.

Pod koniec wojny rozpoczęto prace nad nową latarnią morską. Zbudowano ją w nieco innym miejscu niż pierwotna z wykorzystaniem fundamentów zabudowań fortu, poprzednia latarnia stała obok fortu, obecną zbudowano na jego głównym podeście. Latarnia ma 26m wysokości i zasięg światła 29,6km. W 1981 roku przeszła gruntowny remont, a soczewkę o średnicy 50 cm zastąpiono obrotowym zestawem żarówek halogenowych. Drewnianą klatkę schodową zastąpiono metalową.
Obecnie piwnice latarni zajmuje ciekawe muzeum minerałów z setkami skrystalizowanych, ciętych i szlifowanych minerałów z całego świata. Natomiast w latach 90-tych znajdował się tam klub muzyczny, z którym wiążemy bardzo szczególne wspomnienia...

Kołobrzeg Lighthouse is located at the entrance to the port of Kolobrzeg, it stands on the right bank of the River Parseta.
Its history dates back to the late 17th century when the first navigation light was set up in the city’s port. The first timber-framed lighthouse was built in 1899 and was soon replaced with more sturdy bricked construction.

During World War II the lighthouse was blown up by German engineers as it was a good look-out point for the Polish artillery in March 1945.

At the end of the war work started on a new lighthouse. It was built at a slightly different location from the original using the foundations of the fort buildings, the previous lighthouse stood next to the fort, the current one was built on the main platform. The lighthouse is 26m tall and the range of the light is 29.6km. In 1981 the current structure had a complete overhaul and the 50cm diameter lens was replaced by a rotating set of halogen bulbs. The wooden staircase was also replaced by a metal one.
Right now the basement of the lighthouse is taken up by an interesting museum of minerals with hundreds of crystallised, cut and polished minerals from all around the world. And in the 90s there was a music club about which we have very special memories...
