Urban Street Art
Art is in the eye of the beholder and some urban street art is only graffiti to others.
The Surface Art Festival in Canberra was held in March 2022. There were a number of artists who won the chance to display their art to the community in a big way. It was to bring some colour and life to our city with images of fantasy, graphics and inspiration.
There are a couple of pieces that I personally rather like, but there are some that I just don't understand how they got in.
Your task for logging:
1. Post a photo with your log of you, your GPS or your caching name on a piece of paper at one of the specified walls of your choice in the background.
2. In your log, name which wall number you were at (check the map + waypoints for assistance)
3. Tell us in your log what you thought about this piece of art. Did you like it? Did you hate it? Did it remind you of something, someone or somewhere?
Art is not just suppose to entertain you or for you to think it looks pretty, it is also meant to make you feel some emotion and to give you something to discuss or argue, it's suppose to be thought prevoking whichever direction you go in - like it/hate it.
