👻-L'ESPLANADE de BARROUZE- Virtual Reward 3.0👻
Le nom de Barrouze vint de l'occitan "barralh" qui signifie "lieu clos" en référence aux remparts qui entourent l'esplanade.
l'Esplanade de Barrouze est un belvédère qui vous offre une vue panoramique sur le puy Violent, le col de Néronne, les vallées de la Maronne, du Rat et de l'Aspre, les villages de St-Paul-de-Salers et Fontanges.
Sur cet emplacement s'élevait un couvent qui fut vendu après la Révolution en 1802 à des habitants de Salers qui l'ont démonté pour revendre les matériaux.
Le parc dispose en juillet et en août d'un manège, un carrousel pour les enfants et de bancs pour se reposer à l'ombre des tilleuls.
Vous pourrez aussi admirer les petits jardins en contrebas aménagés dans les remparts en gradin de la cité sagranière ainsi qu'un ancien lavoir.

The name Barrouze comes from the Occitan "barralh" which means "enclosed place" in reference to the ramparts surrounding the esplanade.
The Esplanade de Barrouze is a belvedere which offers you a panoramic view of the Puy Violent, the Col de Néronne, the valleys of the Maronne, the Rat and the Aspre, the villages of St-Paul-de-Salers and Fontanges .
On this site stood a convent which was sold after the Revolution in 1802 to inhabitants of Salers who dismantled it to resell the materials.
In July and August, the park has a merry-go-round, a carousel for children and benches for resting in the shade of the lime trees.
You can also admire the small gardens below laid out in the stepped ramparts of the sagranière city as well as an old wash house
