Ja esat ciemojušies Jūrmalā, tad netālu no Majoru pludmales varbūt esat pamanījuši interesantu skulptūru "Bruņurupucis". Šo skulptūru 1995.gadā izveidoja tēlnieks Jānis Bārda.
Esmu lasījis, ka vēlāk saistībā ar šo mākslas darbu tēlnieka ģimenei ir bijušas domstarpības ar Jūrmalas pilsētas domi. Man nav zināms, kāds ir šo domstarpību juridiskais rezultāts, bet skulptūra joprojām ir apskatāma visiem Jūrmalas viesiem.
Bruņurupucim dažādās tautu kultūrās ir mazliet atšķirīga simboliskā nozīme, bet pārsvarā bruņurupucis simbolizē ilgmūžību un stabilitāti. Man zināms, ka arī šī skulptūra sibolizē mūža ilgumu.
Aicinu visus apciemot šo vietu un, lai reģistrētu notikumu kā atrastu slēpni, jāievēro šādi noteikumi:
1. Nofotografējieties tā, lai būtu redzama skulptūra un:
- Jūs pats
vai
- Turot kādu priekšmetu, uz kura uzrakstīts Jūsu lietotāja vārds Geocaching sistēmā
vai
- Jūsu navigēšanas ierīce rokās
