Castles, Palaces & Fortresses in Luxembourg
With a length of 82 km and a width of 57 km, Luxembourg is one of the smallest countries, but there is so much to discover here. This Virtual Cache is about castles, palaces and fortresses or their remains, and we have plenty of them :)
Just start to discover and don't forget that on any station you can find other Geocache's or Adventure Lab's. So you will have to make your own journey in this beautiful country in order to be able to log this virtual cache.
To log this cache:
You must collect at least 25,000 points by visiting different places here in Luxembourg. On each location, take a photo with your geocaching name visible in the image or with your smiling face. ;) There are 48 different waypoints to choose from with different score values. The places don't need to be visited on the same day.
BOTH the LOCATION and your GEOCACHING NAME / FACE must be clearly recognizable in the pictures. The coordinates of waypoints mark the buildings, it is up to you whether you stand in front of it or take a photo on a hike from further away, you are free to decide, and maybe there is already another cache there, that makes the decision for you ;)
You have to write in your log which waypoints you visited and how many points you got together.
DO NOT send the pictures by mail or private message - attach them to the log!
Anyone who logs must attach:
• Photos of visited points with your geocaching name or face included in each image (not photoshop),
which is:
• taken in the right way that clearly shows the location,
and:
• with a total score of 25,000 or more, which is noted in detail in your log.
Example:
You visit and take a picture according to the aforementioned requirements at Urspelt Castle and another picture at Clervaux Castle. Urspelt Castle is 3000 points and Clervaux Castle is 2500 points, so the total score is 5500. This means that you need 19500 points and more places need to be visited before you meet the requirement of 25000 points and you can log. Examples of how a log image can look are in the gallery.
