Without a doubt the wine industry is the driving force behind Marlborough's economy and this cache is the 43rd in a series by Kiwimykl (and others) to highlight the industry. Wine Marlborough, list 168 wineries on their website and at the time of listing (International Sauvignon Blanc Day) this is the latest in the series. While not at one of the wineries of Marlborough, this Virtual 3.0 uses an information board and a signpost for the decision on the Wineries of your choice for logging requirements.
The listed coordinates will take you to an information board and signpost in Renwick, the heart of Marlborough Wine country.
To claim this Virtual 3.0 reward there are 2 parts, the questions and the photo.
First:
Send a message via the message centre or email the cache owner the answers to the following two questions:
1. How many orange stars on the street map of wineries.
2. How many possible wineries can be fitted on the signpost ??? Note, not all may be filled.
Second:
Log your find, along with a photo of:
1. Yourself or your Geocaching name, outside the Winery of your choice from the 20 or so listed on the signpost adjacent to the information board.
You should receive a reply within a week or so about your answers to the questions. If you are correct, your log will stay. If incorrect, a follow-up message or email will be sought before deleting your log.
