Il Ponte degli Scalzi (prende il nome dalla vicina chiesa di Santa Maria di Nazareth, meglio nota come Chiesa degli Scalzi dovuta dai Carmelitani scalzi), inaugurato il 28 ottobre 1934, è uno dei quattro ponti che attraversano il Canal Grande a Venezia. La sua caratteristica distintiva che lo rende unico è il fatto che è costruito interamente con blocchi di pietra d'Istria e non ha armature che lo sorreggono. Infatti il suo costruttore, Eugenio Miozzi (1889-1979), andava fiero dicendo «non ha nessuna armatura, né in cemento armato, né in ferro, né in bronzo; non ha nessun misterioso malefizio». È stato definito anche un «esile sopracciglio marcato a candida meraviglia».

The Scalzi bridge (takes its name from the nearby church of Santa Maria di Nazareth, better known as the Church of the Discalced due to the discalced Carmelites), inaugurated 28 October 1934, is one of the four bridges spanning the Grand Canal in Venice. Its distinctive feature that makes it unique is that it's built entirely with Istrian stone blocks and has no supporting reinforcements. In fact, its builder, Eugenio Miozzi (1889-1979), was proud, saying «it has no reinforcement, neither in reinforced concrete, nor in iron, nor in bronze; it has no mysterious evil». He was also described as having a «slender eyebrow marked in white wonder».

Oktober 1934, ist eine der vier Brücken, die den Canale Grande in Venedig überspannen. Seine markante Eigenschaft, die es einzigartig macht, ist, dass es vollständig aus Istriastonen gebaut ist und keine tragenden Verstärkungen hat. Sein Erbauer, Eugenio Miozzi (1889-1979), war stolz darauf: «Es hat keine Bewehrung, weder aus Stahlbeton, noch aus Eisen, noch aus Bronze; es hat kein geheimnisvolles Übel». Er wurde auch beschrieben als jemand mit einer «schlanken Augenbraue, die in weißem Staunen markiert war».
