From Bernina Pass (2328 m) it is possible to enjoy a beautiful view of the high mountains that surround the pass. Using the photos of the listing try to identify the various mountains with their name .... if you know their names when you recognize them they will seem more beautiful ... and more yours.
One of the mountains that you can immediately learn to recognize is Piz Campasc. It is not one of the highest mountains but it is particular and is easily recognizable. If you are a hiker a path that starts from the pass will take you in an hour and a half to the top of the Piz Campasc crossing an area dedicated to the protection and conservation of rare and endangered species of mammals and wild birds.
The coordinates of the listing lead you to the beginning of the path towards Piz Campasc and near a nice Information Board where the various animals that live in the nature reserve are illustrated.
To log this Virtual Geocache you must meet the following conditions:
- identify Piz Campasc using the listing photo
- identify the trailhead of the path to Piz Campasc where you will find a path sign to Piz Campasc
- take a picture of yourself (with a part of your body - showing your face is voluntary!) and a sheet of paper with your nickname on it with Piz Campasc in the background.
- in the photo the Piz Campasc path sign must clearly point to Piz Campasc in the background (see example)
- attach the photo to your log (I would be especially happy if you let your creativity run free when creating the log image)
- send me a message with the latin scientific name of one of the animals you will find on the near Campasc Information Board
Logs that do not comply with these conditions will be deleted.
