Święta Góra Grabarka to miejsce, do którego od stuleci podążają prawosławni pielgrzymi. Jej najstarsze dzieje nie są dokładnie znane, ale miejsce zasłynęło w 1710r., kiedy to epidemia cholery panowała na terenach Podlasia. W tym to czasie pewien starzec we śnie miał objawienie, że ratunek można znaleźć na pobliskim wzgórzu. Wierni poszli za głosem Bożym i w intencji przynosząc ze sobą krzyże. Z modlitwą obmywali się i pili wodę ze źródełka. Według kroniki siemiatyckiej parafii ratunek od choroby znalazło wówczas ok. 10 tys. ludzi. W podzięce Bogu za cud w uzdrowieniu zbudowano na tym miejscu drewnianą kapliczkę Przemienienia Pańskiego. Cerkiew była przebudowywana, remontowana, upiększana i dotrwała do 1990r, kiedy to podpalona spłonęła całkowicie. Nowa cerkiew została wyświęcona w 1998r. i jest już murowana.
Od setek lat ludzie przychodzą tu z prośbą i modlitwą o pomoc. Zostawiają swoje krzyże, pod którymi kryją się ich osobiste troski, smutki i radości. Przychodzą, aby tu znaleźć ukojenie, radość, pociechę i wzmocnienie. Do dziś wierni obmywają tu swoje chore i obolałe miejsca, piją wodę ze studni i zabierają ją do domów.
Najbardziej liczne pielgrzymki przybywają na Świętą Górę na święto Przemienienia Pańskiego (18/19 sierpnia), ale wierni, pielgrzymi i turyści docierają tu przez cały rok.

At that time, a certain old man in his dream had a revelation that rescue could be found on a nearby hill. The faithful followed God's voice and brought crosses with them. They prayed and washed themselves and drank water from the spring. According to the chronicle of the parish in Siemiatycze, about 10 thousand people found salvation from the disease. people. In gratitude to God for a miracle in healing, a wooden chapel of the Transfiguration was built on this site. The church was rebuilt, renovated, beautified and lasted until 1990, when it burned down completely after it was set on fire. The new church was consecrated in 1998. and it is already bricked.
For hundreds of years people have come here asking and praying for help. They leave their crosses behind which they hide their personal worries, sorrows and joys. They come here to find solace, joy, consolation and strengthening. To this day, the faithful wash their sick and sore places here, drink water from the well and take it home.
The most numerous pilgrimages come to the Holy Mountain for the Feast of the Transfiguration (August 18/19), but the faithful, pilgrims and tourists come here all year round.
