Taughannock Falls is a special place to me. I believe it was on my 2nd date with my muggle that we went here. Now, I am orginally from Pennsylvania and traveled to this area just to see him.
I was standing, leaning on the rail and made the statement " that is amazing", I heard him quietly say "yes it is". When I snuck a peak in his direction he was not looking at the falls but was looking at me. That was my first "Awwwww" moment with him. Now six years later we have had plenty of "Aww" moments, but that one will always be special.
I can't guarantee you an "Aww" moment, but I can guarantee a wonderful view. I have been here when the falls were roaring. Been here when they were a trickle. I have even been here when they were frozen.
To log this cache I ask that you take a picture of yourself pointing at the falls or the nearby pollinator garden and post it in your log.
There is plenty of free parking available. No charge to visit this part of the park.
