Geocache Description:

YouthLink – The Calgary Police Interpretive Centre

One of the best kept secrets is this outstanding museum tucked away in NE Calgary. Here you will find awesome display after display, taking you through almost one hundred and fifty years of vigilance, courage and pride .

Currently, there is no admission fee to enter the museum and parking is free, but the tricky part (and hence the difficulty rating of the cache) is the operating hours which are 10AM-4PM, Fridays and Saturdays. It is also recommended to make an online reservation before you go, but believe me, it is well worth it!

Inside the museum, you will find a crime lab, a forensic science area, a helicopter, police tactical gear, historic references and artifacts, the canine unit and a lot more! There is also an "Investigation Handbook" which will put you and your family "On the Case" where you will have to find clues and complete the museum challenge. You will also find the answers you need to log this Virtual.

Come on in and enjoy this Calgary gem!
