The Dapper Earl Grey
Prime Minister from 1830-34, the Second Earl Grey was a dapper gent, always dressed to chill, as they say. Charles fixed the problems left by the Duke of Wellington by passing the Great Reform Act and finally abolishing slavery throughout the Empire. He hated public life and resigned as
soon as he could - Ireland provided the excuse to retire and criticise from a distance. He disliked change and said once that change should only ever be gradual and "according to the increased intelligence of the people, and the necessities of the times".
This has nothing whatsoever to do with this location. You are, in fact, looking for a rather less political spider in amongst the Olive Oil. Just in the middle there, about 6 ft up. There you go, lovely. Now have a cup of tea - how about an "Earl Grey"?
