If you look up you'll see the Big S painted on the side of the of the mountain. 🏔️
My grandpa use to be the tennis coach at MSJC and taught at San Jacinto high school! 🐅
He would go up and repaint the S when ever it was fading and light it up for San Jacinto High School's Homecoming🧡🖤
When he passed away it was the hardest time of my life. I grew up in the shadow of this S and wanted to hide a geo cache in honor of our beautiful mountain. This cache is in honor of my hometown, San Jacinto and in memory of my Grandfather, James 'Hoss' Adams🙂 or better known as Jim Bill!
Now the Ward Family does an amazing job with the up keep and lighting the S on Home Coming Night ✨ (I even got to tag along one year!)
