Published coordinates will bring you to the "Avenue of Honors," an area dedicated to those who served our country in the Armed Forces. In the center of the circle is a memorial monument to the brave Marylanders who gave their lives in World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Around the outside perimeter of the circle are seven memorials to honor honorably discharged veterans of the five Armed Forces.
The posted coordinates will bring you to one of the seven tall granite rectangular memorials around the circle, with names carved on both sides.. To find what you need to get the final coordinates, you will need to be looking at the backside (the side not facing the road) of the memorial stone at GZ. Look for five people listed consecutively, all with the same last name. One of those five has a first name that does not begin with the letter D. Enter the first name of that person into Certitude to get coordinates for the final stage.
Parking coordinates are provided. Please do not park in the circle. Final is within walking distance, so no need to move your vehicle. There are at least 3 other caches in this cemetery or in the woods around it. Please be respectful as you move about.
