The Iowa Geocachers Organization has adopted a two mile section of highway in Story County for twice-per-year Adopt-A-Highway litter removal in the spirit of Geocaching.com's mission of "Cache-In-Trash-Out" 
and we need your help!!
It's time for the spring version of trash pick up on this adopted section of highway in Story County. With enough cachers (12 to 16+), this cleanup can be accomplished in about two hours. Smaller participation increases the time to finish our task, so spread the word to your fellow cachers!! 
The posted coordinates are where we will park and gather for a short safety and instructional meeting before we head out in teams to complete this community service. The parking location is Fareway's parking lot.
Please come prepared with proper footwear for hiking, gloves, and any special 'pickup' tools that you prefer. The nearest restroom and convenience store is at the south end of the clean-up site.
The Iowa DOT requires that everyone wears a safety vest - bring your own or I still have a few of the ones the DOT provides
