*******READ THE CACHE PAGE BEFORE HEADING HERE***********
Parking is roadside for this hike.
This woodlot DOES NOT have trails so if you don't enjoy bushwhacking and wet feet then leave these caches! The land is extremely swampy and bugs will be nasty nasty nasty in the spring and wet seasons. Boots are a definite NEED basis here, especially for the north end of the tract. Please abid by the no trespassing signs on either side of the "trail" of caches as this is an extremelly narrow piece of property owned by Norfolk County.
We enjoyed hiking this tract and hopefully you do as well, just pic your season according to the conditions.
As the sign where this cache is located indicates, there is hunting allowed so be aware of the hunting season and DO NOT venture into this area during that time. If you aren't sure please be sure to contact me and I will be able to provide you the information needed.
As in the other tracts in the area, cell service may be limited and the cords will probably bounce about somewhat. For that reason I have provided good hints to make your visit fun and successful!
As I love to bushwhack, be aware that this is a bushwhacky tract BUT we had lots of fun placing these! The DT ratings will reflect the most challenging conditions so depending on the time of year you will be faced with easier or more difficult conditons.
Have fun!!!
Out of respect for the nearby homes......there should be NO NIGHT CACHING.....Thanks!
