Please read all the Description before proceeding. I don't want you to be disappointed.
Tyrone the Gnome is a happy-go-lucky Hawaiian-Australian gnome.
He works as a Forest Gnome stationed near Coolibah Creek in the Eynesbury Forest. Every day Tyrone leaves his comfortable bush home and takes an easy walk to monitor the creek's water level. If you're lucky to visit when he's at home he'll show you a clue to help you get inside. When you do get inside you're on your own to find and sign the log. Heads up, the log's hard to find. Remember the Geocache rule; finding the cache means you signed the log. Just seeing the cache doesn't count. N.B. If you can't find the log but decide to sign a piece of paper and put it in the cache your claim of a find will be rejected. Fair warning. Keep looking. Be thorough. There is no shame in logging an online DNF. Asking the CO for a hint is welcomed and you'll get a reply within a couple of days. Please don't give away the location of the log book.
Apart from the swag, log, pen and a pencil, there is a plastic box that contains some costumes. You can borrow (but not keep) and wear them if you want to take selfies with Tyrone and include them with your online log. I hope you do. Please use care when opening the cache. There is no need to force or break anything. If you do accidentally lose or break something I won't be mad at you, but only if you tell me ASAP so I can do maintenance.
There is safe roadside verge parking on Eynesbury Road near the trail head. If you park close to the wire cable fence you'll have at least a metre between your car and the asphalt. This road can be busy. Please be careful.
FTF honor goes to Yin-Yang on 29 April 2022.
