I've been planning to place some more caches in this park that geodog Kacey and I came to often. We had to say goodbye to Kacey two days ago, so on February 25, 2022 I headed here to remember her and finally place some new caches.
After placing two new caches down the traiI, I remembered that I had a custom cache that I've been looking for a good spot to place. This may be a quick find for some, but frustrating for many. Geodog Kacey loved being with me out on a geotrail in the woods. However, she often had no patience when I was wandering around in circles trying to locate a challenging cache. She would wander off, exploring on her own. When I first took her out with me, I would make her sit and wait until I found the cache. She eventually taught me to leave her alone and she would either join me farther down the trail or, if I took too long to find the cache, she would come back and check on me from time to time: I never had to worry about her running off.
This cache might be in the category of "nano in the woods". However, its host is clearly visible, so with a little attention to detail, you shouldn't have to make your geodog wait very long for you to get back on the trail.
