Woohooo!!! It's CITO time again!! It's your chance to clean up this great city and maybe find a few caches along the way. CITOs are my favourite events!! I always feel great afterwards and it is a good chance to meet up with other cachers so I decided to host another CITO event. All cachers who attend this event will earn the Spring CITO 2022 souvenir.
I wanted to experiment with a CITO in March so we'll see how it goes. Last year there was no snow by mid-March but it is hard to say if it will be gone in time this year but there still should be garbage to pick up. I will do another CITO in April or May in any event.
We will be meeting at the posted coordinates in Callingwood Park at 4:30 pm and from there people can spread out through the park and clean up litter. Please feel free to clean up any part of the park you want. Due to hygiene concerns, please bring your own hand sanitizer, garbage bags, gloves and pickers. I will be supplying hand sanitizer in case you forget your own. Everyone is invited to come out and clean up this great park and possibly find a few caches too! Please feel free to bring any trackables you wish to exchange or drop off. There will not be a log book to sign. We will take a group picture near the posted coordinates at 5:25 pm before the event wraps up.
