This trail was recently created as part of the Cardinal Valley Habitat Restoration Project. Over the last few years, the Environmental Protection Agency, Missouri Department of Natural Resources and Webb City, teamed up to clean, reclaim, and return what was once miniing land to a more natural habitat.
The trail is in the early stages of development and is rocky in some areas and can be muddy after a rain.. On the loop, sturdy shoes are recommended because of large rocks.
Permission for these caches from Randy Haas, Webb City Habitat Manager.
This small series contains hides with a quilting theme and a bonus cache. Many of the caches are hidden in plain sight. Take note of the number on the cache and number of letters in each name for use with the bonus cache. It's best to search for the caches in order (1-8).
